Yes! Maybe City of Perth could commission some local artists or industrial designers to create some? Or a public competition?

I think this is also a great idea. It seems like hardly anybody feels comfortable with sitting in the middle of the square (away from the GPO or from the water fountain opposite) so this would be a great way to encourage a more friendly space. This idea reminded me of the "Museumsquartier" in Vienna, where strange shaped seats were put out over the warmer seasons.

Does FORM also do furniture as well as art and jewellery? Perhaps we could apply for an arts grant to commission local artists?
