Jacqui G's idea for Mandurah City Centre

I would like to see an ice rink built in Mandurah. there are only 2 ice rinks in WA, one in Cockburn and one in Mirabooka. I think it would bring something different to the area, and would also be a positive physical and social activity that young people would engage in. I know of a few state ice hockey players and figure skaters who live in the rockingham/mandurah area, who would appreciate something closer.

Another positive idea to attract families and keep them entertained. the fact that there are only 2 other rinks in WA means that it would be a unique attraction that would work all year round.

That's a great idea. It's something that could appeal to all ages too. Family friendly during the day then at night pump loud music and bring in some flashing lights for the 15 - 25's.
